team gymnastix is the logical continuation for those who've fallen in love with the Sport of Gymnastics.  Nothing quite compares to the exhilaration of doing what you love to do, in a team setting - each individual doing their part to help each other succeed.  Our gymnastic teams are challenged to prepare as individuals who are needed and depended upon.  We develop strong muscles and even stronger character traits such as:  team work, responsibility, time management, and respect for others.  Our gymnastic teams learn discipline through determination and perseverance, which are the compass & map leading to self-confidence and a great work ethic!

AAFG's Travel Teams (Levels 4-10) are governed by the USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Training Program.  Our Travel Teams compete throughout our state & region against this country's finest athletes.  Emphasis is placed on accomplishing individual goals on the way to team success, through determination and perseverance.

The Flames Home Team is designed for boys & girls who are prepared for advanced gymnastic skills, but who may not be ready for the Travel Team commitment.  Emphasis is placed on teamwork, responsibility and self-confidence, while developing further as a gymnast.  Training consists of USAG skills (levels 4-10)  under the guidance of AAFG's experienced Junior Olympic Travel Team coaches.  Home Team gymnasts transferring to the Travel Team must adhere to the USAG Scoring/Level Requirements and AAFG Travel Team Rules
