2008 Male Compulsory
Coach Of The Year
Congratulations to All
American Flames Gymnastix owner/coach Joe Scheible. Joe was voted
the 2008 Male Compulsory Coach Of The Year by the USAG Professionals in
the state of Michigan. USAG's Compulsory program consists of
Levels 1-6 (out of 10). Joe was nominated along with Jason Bahleda
(GTC) and Daniel McCarty (Gedderts' Twistars).
"Simply being nominated by your peers is an honor itself, but to be
recognized as Coach of the Year, over other very deserving and talented
coaches, is truly humbling. I, personally, share this honor with
the fine coaches I work with and the great kids I coach, whose dedicated
contributions provide a successful work-balance." |

Christmas In The Motor
City Classic - Westland, MI
12-13-08:
The Lady Flames Optional gymnasts began their season this past weekend
in Westland, MI, at the 30th annual Christmas In The Motor City Classic.
Not only was it a memorable event for the meet hosts (congrats on 30
years Doug), but it was also All American Flames first competition at
Level 10. Amanda Stepp
and Jessica Leadbetter breached that wall for the Flames with
Amanda Stepp claiming the gold on
vault. The Level 9 team brought home the bronze medal team award -
lead by a surprising performance by Samantha Pennazoli. The Level
8's placed 4th. Amanda Holderby conclude her short Level 7 season
with a gold medal vaulting performance. Nice start, girls.
